First Soccer Game

It has been a good week. The kids are doing great at school. Rylie had her first spelling test and spelled all the words correctly, even the mystery words. She was the only one in her class to get a check + on her handwriting on the test. She was proud. Isaac is actually showing interest in writing at school! He came home with a paper where he had copied letters off of the letter cards at the writing center. This was during free play time, not a teacher directed activity!!!

They both played great this morning at their soccer game! Isaac is the only 4 year old on the team but he is definitely not afraid to go after that ball and bump chests with the big boys! Rylie scored 3 goals and is heading for the "black and blue award" again. Her coach gave her that award last year because he thought she was pretty tough. And today, she was knocked down several times. Once a kid even kicked the ball when she was down and it hit her in the neck. When the game was over, she said it hurt, but she didn't let it stop her.
