Kings Island

I had won 2 2-day Kings Island passes at a staff appreciation breakfast at the end of the school year.  The kids had not been to KI b4 so they were looking forward to it.  I was excited to get the kids on the Vortex b/c that is my favorite.  Rylie was 4 sure tall enough.  Isaac, well, we knew he was only 47" and you are supposed to be 48" to ride.  In our minds, that was close enough so we decided to try it.  We had told him that if they measured him, he would be too short so he would need to be big about it and wait with Daddy while Mommy and Rylie rode.  They weren't watching closely so he made it on.  Rylie loved it!  Isaac says he loves it now.  He didn't start out with his head back, so he got his head banged around quite a bit and had a headache afterwards.  But now, he says he wants to do it again.  Rylie and I also rode the Racers--both of which go forward only now.  No more backwards.  As much as I loved roller coasters when I was younger, I discovered that my pregnancy with Isaac took away my ability to ride over and over again.  Or maybe it is just my age. But I will blame it on the pregnancy since that when I developed allergies, too. The kids enjoyed the coasters in kiddie land and loved the water park.
Rylie gave the Vortex a "Thumbs-Up!"
Isaac-not so much!
But, he does want to give it another try!
What a trooper!

Their favorite kiddie coaster
Enjoying LaRosa's Pizza!

Since we had 2-day passes, we decided to camp over night near Lebanon.  Very fun!  The kids have such a great time camping!  We stayed a private campgrounds and the showers were tolerable!  I was able to take a shower!!!  That is a big step for me!

Designing a Native American clock.
It was like they were hosting a TV show.
