On Saturday, we headed to Kentucky to a bluegrass festival to watch Reed play. We had lots of family travel down for the weekend so it was fun. Yesterday, we went to Blue Lick Battlefield State Park for a family cookout, pioneer museum and putt-putt. We had also planned on going on a hike but that part got rained out. We had a wonderful time of family worship in the hotel b4 we headed out for the park. We were able to praise God with songs and spend time in His word. It is times like this that we are reminded of what Jesus said in Matthew 18:20..."where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” What an awesome experience--to worship our Lord and Savior with 4 generations of our family together! Very precious!

Isaac said his favorite part of the weekend was going to the pioneer museum and then playing pioneers with his cousins at our house. Rylie had so much fun she had a hard time picking her favorite part. I think she enjoyed the car ride home with Mackenzie and Haley. They told stories and listened to the Learn Chinese CD...lots of giggles! Matt's most memorable event this weekend was getting beat by me at putt-putt. Well, I wouldn't say that I beat him, I SMOKED him! We also enjoyed changing the language on the GPS--we obviously can't understand Chinese b/c we missed a turn!
