We sat through 2 very COLD soccer games this morning! One week left! The kids both had great games though. We went out to lunch with Grandma Lynda and Grandpa Ron. Isaac and Rylie rode with them from the soccer fields. Isaac was supposed to open his b-day present at the restaurant but had it unwrapped when they pulled in!! He just can't always control his excitement. He got an electronic drum set. Not quite as loud as a real drum set!! He enjoyed it for the rest of the afternoon!!
We didn't really do b-day parties for the kids this year b/c of our trip to MI and Matt's hunting trip. Also b/c trick-or-treat is actually on a Saturday this year. Didn't really leave many free weekends. But tonight, we had just a few people over for a very small celebration (so they didn't think like I was a horrible mom--I guess more so I didn't feel like a horrible mom). You know it isn't one of our usual birthday bashes when 1) there are no decorations, 2) everyone can fit in the kitchen when eating and 3) the kids have to rummage through their own toys to find something for the tops of their cake/pie!!! Very low key this year!

We love gift cards & VISA check cards!!!

Rylie--examining her iron-ons to decorate her own purse/bag!
Hhhhhmmmmm. Decisions! Very fun!!

Uncle Reed wasn't there b/c he was at the radio station.
Isaac requested a song and he played it! This is Isaac singing along.
Reed also gave a b-day shout out to Rylie and Isaac!

Playing the new Bop It game b4 bed

Rylie decided it was quickest for her to use
her chin to hit the bop it button!
