Well, the Christmas season is here! We kicked it off last weekend with our gingerbread house making tradition with friends, Church Christmas Banquet, Christmas musical dress rehearsal and cutting down our Christmas tree. Unfortunately, Rylie got sick while we were making the gingerbread houses so she had to leave. We are so thankful for Mamma who was willing to take her, sickness and all, so Isaac could finish his house with friends. And we praise God that it was a short lived sickness! Thank you, Julie, to all the hard work you put into the preparations for this much anticipated event!!! We were able to assemble Rylie's gingerbread house and she decorated it at home on Monday. Not the same, but still lots of fun! It is so neat to see how the kids choose to decorate their houses. Isaac is much more concerned about the yard details, and this year, Rylie was very deliberate with her roof decorations. Love it!

When Isaac realized there was caramel inside the hershey's kisses,
he had to take a bite and use the rest for the decoration!
What a creative touch! Or maybe just a creative way to get
bites of candy with a protest from mom!

Here are a few random pictures of my last few weeks with Eli:
funny faces for the camera

Eli loves Gracie and Gracie loves the attention he gives her...at least for now!
Got her!

Gracie loves to nuzzle anyone who will let her!
To Eli, that just means that Gracie is much closer and well within reach!

Even though we were nicely surprised with a 2 hour delay this am,
I had been up since 4:00. Eli didn't quite get his nap out so he fell back
to sleep on me. And obviously I dozed off and was caught on camera by Matt.
