Lego Fest Milwaukee on Father's Day!
The kids were able to build lego cars and then race them.
Rylie was getting frustrated with Isaac b/c he was letting his
go before the word "GO" was said. Here is proof!!

The Lego Brick Pile
People were burying themselves in Legos!
Creating a masterpiece takes major concentration!
Major Concentration=Tongue Out
This is the kind of thing I would like to build with Legos.
The Krabby Patty Race
And I am not a SpongeBob fan, so I don't know if I spelled that right.
Avery and the Lego Construction Worker
Matt, Ry and Isaac created an artwork tile for the Wall of Art.
Ry: Tree and Flower
Isaac: Penguin
Matt: Block O, of course!!
They have girl Legos now!!! How fun!
Too girly for Rylie, though. Avery will love them when she is a little older!
All she wants to do right now is eat them!
Isaac's face says it all.
After Lego Fest, we ate at the Fridays at the Brewers Stadium.
We stopped for a photo opp outside the stadium.
The River Walk outside a local brewery/restaurant
in the same town as our hotel
The harbor in Port Washington
We had a great time walking around the harbor and town.
In this pic, the kids are looking at the fish under the boardwalk.
This is Rylie....
afraid to walk across this metal part of the boardwalk.
For some reason, this reminds me of the North East!
Love it!
These chairs were everywhere!!!
People's yards, the harbor, the hotel swimming pool!
This was taken at Lion's Den Gorge State Park
Avery spotted a butterfly on our hike and was very
intent on watching it until she couldn't see it any longer!
The Milwaukee County Zoo
What a wonderful zoo!
It was a hot day, but the animals were VERY active.
On our way to pick Matt up that day,
we saw this sign. It says "Rustic Road."
We decided to check it out. I was feeling adventurous.
It was really just a narrow dirt road.
Silly kids waiting for Daddy
One more picture of the gang after dinner at a local crepe restaurant.
For dessert, we went for local custard! MMmmm.
