Today was Rylie's first day of 1st grade. She was looking forward to starting school. We met her teacher last week and she seems to be very nurturing. A lot of people I have talked to say that she really leaves a lasting impact on the kids, even as young as they are. Rylie had a great day and was glad to ride the bus with one of her best friends. They aren't in the same class but I have assured her that they have bus and recess time. She came home giving us the update on all of the school business. I don't know where she gets her info, but she sure is full of it!!!! I am glad that she is so independent and loves school. I do ask that as she gets into the year, that you would pray that she does not suffer from the test anxiety this year like she did in kindergarten.

Grandma has always had problems with test taking. It's so easy for people to tell you to relax, but it is hard to do. I know you can with practice. Grandpa and I will pray for you this year. We are so proud of both you and Isaac. Love, Grandma
