Wow!

Wow! It has been a busy week. I started back to work on Monday. Isaac started school Wednesday. Matt took Thursday off because the babysitter was taking her daughter to college. We had planned that he would take the kids to the local waterpark--that was their reward for doing their chores this summer. I was excited that Matt was going to be the one to take them. Well, since most kids started school this week, the waterpark cut back their hours. So, Matt took the kids to do the bungee trampoline at the mall and then down to Young's for lunch. They hit balls at the driving range, had ice cream and then the kids got to go down the fun slide 2 times. They went to the airport to watch Air National Guard Jets take off. They had a blast! But, it wasn't the waterpark that I had been promising them all summer! So, we told them we would take them Friday afternoon.

Friday afternoon, we finally made it to the waterpark. The kids had a great time playing in the wade pool and on the water playground. The kids weren't tall enough to go down the waterslides but Matt had fun! It was much easier to keep track of the kids this year since they are a little older, more confident in the water, and can actually swim a little.

Today, we went to the Buckeye Kids Club Kick Off Event at the stadium. The crowd was small which made it really nice!

The kids were able to get their faces painted, try on real jerseys and helmets and play on an inflatable jumpoline and slide. Rylie didn't like wearing the helmet. She left it on long enough for a picture but wanted it off because it was too heavy!

It was really neat to be able to be on the field!! The kids were able to play games, play football with Matt, and run the ball into the endzone! Rylie ran from one endzone to the other. They even got to get water out of the gatorade jugs and sit on the bench.

Matt wanted to get a picture of the kids diving for the corner of the endzone.

Here are videos of the kids' touchdown dances.

At the basketball stadium, they have several statues of Brutus in different costumes. Rylie and Isaac wanted to get their picture taken with a few of them. They were very neat!
