Duck Hunting

Today, the girls (Me, Mom, LeAnn and Rylie) went to my cousin Casi's baby shower and Isaac got to go duck and goose hunting for the first time.  He was very excited!  I mean, he could hardly stand it!!  They actually got some ducks when they went out in the afternoon.  It was a great day for Isaac to go because it wasn't THAT cold and they were just going to the field across the street from our house.  It wasn't such a big deal if he got cold and wanted to go home; they just had to walk him across the street.  We were able to go to the shower because we didn't get the accumulations from the winter storm that was expected.  I was kind of bummed.  I have been waiting for at least some snow.  I'm not big on winter but I do enjoy a few good snow storms.   I was jealous when Luke called and said they had 10 inches and were expecting up to 2 more.  That made me really miss winters in Erie, PA.

Isaac, ready to go!
Oh--the gun is a toy!!!  I am sure the cars that were driving by as he walked across the road thought, "what is wrong with those parents!"

The Latest On Danny:  They are having a difficult time weaning him off the life supportive devices.  They will probably be putting a trach in within the next few days so they can remove the ventilator.  He is having difficulty with a high heart rate and low blood pressure.  They have been able to control those with medications but would like to wean him from some of that as well.  He is getting rest throughout the days which is an answer to prayer.  The docs are realizing that his lungs may have been damaged from the radiation more than originally thought.  Stephanie is getting discouraged and is finding it necessary to rely on family for financial help.
