Back to School

We were back to work and school today.  It really was a good morning.  I was able to get up by 5:15  and the kids didn't have trouble getting up at 6.  We had really been enjoying sleeping in over break!!  The one thing we are going to have to work through is Matt's new toothbrush.  He got a new fancy electric toothbrush for Christmas that shuts off when his brushing too hard.  At his last dentist appointment he was told that he brushed too hard.  That noise really bothers me at 5:30 in the morning!!!  But I did enjoy a cup of coffee (with lots of cream) from my new coffee pot!!  

Update on Danny:  Danny had a rough day Saturday.  He actually coded Saturday evening but they were able to revive him.  He had a good day Sunday and Steph said today that his color is beginning to look like it did before he became sick.  There is still some minor swelling of his neck and face but God is answering prayers.  Stephanie asked today that we would pray that Danny would be able to sleep.  They are unable to give him any sedatives to help with that b/c they make him too unresponsive.  He is going on 3 days with little sleep.  Right now, he is trying to communicate with pictures and  pointing to letters.  He is feisty which is giving Steph glimpses of his true personality.  By the end of the week, they will begin to ween him off some of the life supportive devices that he is on right now,  dialysis, ventilator, etc.  Steph has felt the power of prayer and is encouraged by all of you!
