Happy New Year!

Well, last Saturday, I ended up with the stomach flu and Isaac woke up later that night and got sick once.  Thankfully, it was short lived and we were back to normal by Sunday afternoon.  Matt and Rylie didn't get it but I think it went through most of our extended family!!

We have enjoyed a relaxing week at home.  Matt took off so he has been home with us.  We spent New Year's Eve at home.  Rylie had seen a news story about the new ball in Times Square so she was determined to stay up to see the ball drop.  We played games until about 9:30.  Isaac decided at 10:15 that he wanted to go to bed.  Rylie and I read on the couch watching a bowl game until about 11:30 when ESPN started broadcasting 2 people doing stunts in a truck and on a motorcycle in Las Vegas.  She was excited to see the stunts so I think that helped to keep her awake.  You know--they kept saying, "coming up...."  And then they would go to a commercial.  Well she made it!!!  ESPN cut into the production in NYC at 11:59 so she got to see the ball drop.

Anxiously Awaiting!!!

Matt didn't make it!
