Snow Days!

Well, Isaac and I have enjoyed 2 snow days.  Rylie had school yesterday but was off today.  We have a lot of snow!!!  I always say that I miss winters in Erie, PA because I enjoyed the snow.  But things didn't seem to shut down in Erie when we had a snow storm like the one we just had.

Isaac had fun doing science experiments--mixing colored liquid, "mixing" colors with his eyes and making crystals.  Rylie made one of those fleece tie blankets.  She had gotten it for her birthday and I finally agreed to let her tackle the task.    We are very thankful for our neighbor who has a "bobcat" that he uses to plow the driveways.  He plowed his driveway and then cleared our driveway and mom and dad's.   I was a little nervous about trying to get out with my car tomorrow but I should be OK now.  Matt was bummed that our counties didn't go on a level 3 snow emergency b/c that is the only way he gets off work for bad weather.  Oh well.

The kids played outside for about  20 minutes before lunch and then for about 45 minutes before dinner.

Rylie and Susie enjoying the snow!

Isaac has to find something to climb on!

Digging in the snow--making an underground fort.

Still digging!

Isaac got distracted by climbing...again.

Rylie reaching into her "fort."

Climbing in.
