Sports-Filled Weekend!

It feels like all we did this weekend was attend sporting events!! Friday night, we went to Matt's indoor soccer game. There is a co-ed team from church that plays at a local field house. The team has really started to play like a "team!" I didn't get good pics this weekend--I was having battery and camera mode problems. I've got it now and hope to get better pictures of everyone next time.

Saturday morning, we went to Rylie's b-ball game. She plays in the Upward basketball league. It is a church based league and the kids have memory verses to learn and devotionals at practice. There is also someone who gives a devotion at the half-time of all the games. What a way to share the gospel with people who may not otherwise be exposed to it!!!  And believe me, that gym is packed ALL day!  Rylie is definitely learning the basics of basketball and her confidence is growing each week. She did great this weekend with 3 baskets, a few rebounds and a few steals.

(This is Rylie stealing the ball from the girl she was guarding in one of the
quarters.  If you can't tell, the girl was almost twice her size!!!  Rylie is
the one in the green jersey that you can hardly see.)

Saturday night, we went to the OSU men's game vs. Minnesota with mom and dad. Minnesota was ranked higher but the Bucks pulled out a win. It was a good game and the kids had a blast. Rylie and Isaac were both into cheering and rallying during the first half. After Isaac ate his popcorn at half-time, he asked if he could go to sleep for a while (the game didn't start until 8:00 so it was way past his bedtime).  Rylie was still going strong!
