Happy Birthday, Pap!

Well, last weekend, my dad (or as the kids call him-Pap) turned the big 5-0!!  We celebrated with friends and family and had a bluegrass "festival" in his honor.  It started out as a small concert with Reed's band but grew into a fundraiser for the school with 2 bands.  There was a great turnout--around 200 people!  Rylie surprised him by getting up on stage to play "happy birthday".  She did great.  I think she really likes to perform!  Pap doesn't show much emotion but did go up and give her a hug.  She brought her Aunt LeAnn and Aunt Doris to tears.  We were blessed to spend Saturday surrounded by friends and family!  Oh, let's not forget Matt's soccer.  The team lost by a lot to a team that was made up the 2007 seniors from a local high school soccer team.  But, Matt is walking without any limp this week!  Praise the Lord for that!
