The kids had a violin concert yesterday at a nursing home.  Isaac played 2 versions of Twinkle and Rylie played several of the songs from her suzuki violin book.  I didn't get a picture of them playing b/c I was trying to take video as well.  But I did get one of the kids in "rest" position getting ready to begin.  Rylie practiced her violin songs with her fingers and in her head all morning.  She loves to perform!  Isaac, well, let's just say that he likes to play (but not necessarily the violin).  No, he enjoys playing around on the violin but doesn't like practicing.

I finished a great book on parenting/discipline over the weekend. It is called "Don't Make Me Count to Three!" A Mom's Look at Heart-Oriented Discipline by Ginger Plowman.  An excellent book on biblical discipline. Very practical! I definitely recommend it!
