Baby Lissa Finally Arrived!

I'm an aunt!!! And the kids have a first cousin!!! Although, they don't quite get that b/c in their minds, some of my cousins, who are closer to their ages, are their cousins. And in all the ways that matter, they are right. We are blessed with lots of supportive family!

Renee started the induction process Friday night and the pitocin was started Saturday morning. She was a trooper! She labored ALL day until they decided to do a c-section late Saturday night. Even that was not "typical" for them.... The spinal did not work, so Renee was able to feel what was happening! That precious little baby girl will help to erase the painful memories! Luke and Renee are proud parents! Lissa was born at 11:05 on 6/26 and weighed in at 8 lbs 14.5 oz.

Isaac chose 3 verses to read to Luke and Renee at the hospital.

1 John 4:7 Love each other, because love comes from God.

James 1:17 Every good and perfect gift is from above. Isaac's commentary: Lissa is a precious gift from God.

Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. Isaac chose this verse b/c of the struggles they went through during the labor and delivery.
