Snapshot of Our Weekend

Our first fall picture!!!
I love fall!!!
This weekend we kept ourselves busy with lots of different activities. And our weekend isn't over b/c the kids don't have school tomorrow either! Yay! That means a camp out in our backyard tonight! Friday night was the WL-S Tigers first home game. The Tigers were victorious and off to another great season! Wanting to go to the HS football games means the kids are really growing up! WL-S is really good about including the little ones in the school spirit activities, as well, so that helps. On Saturday, we headed to the Fair @ New Boston. Not sure if this is true or not, but someone said that this was the biggest draw for the reenactors outside of Williamsburg! The kids, especially Isaac, love to visit things like this....historical battles, pioneers, Indians...anything history!

In one of the first booths we stopped at,
there were pioneer toys that we could try.
We opted for the stilts and cat & mouse game.
Rylie was not sure of the stilts,
even with Matt holding her up.
I was all over the stilts! I love stilts!!
Matt and the kids are quite impressed
that I still have it!
Where is the lock and key!!!
This was inside a fort.
Who needs a gun when you have an imagination!
Looking out for enemies, I guess.
Isaac took his own money to buy a musket.
They didn't quite have what he was looking for,
so he settle on a knife instead. This was the search
for just the right one! Decisions!
This was a man walking around with a rat in a cage.
He actually brought that cage over, put his arm around me
and engaged in some type of street argument with the
lady in the next picture. Why me, really!!!???
The two characters bantered back and forth for a long
time before moving on. Fun for the kids!
This is one of the Indians in the battle reenactment.
Rylie thought the guns and canons were WAY too loud!
The Indians were probably my favorite!
