Tubing Fun

What a fun weekend!!! We started the weekend on Friday with a snow day! Kind of a bummer b/c that just means one more day in June, but it was nice to just hang out at home. We spent Friday evening tubing with friends at the ski mountain, or hill. Rylie had earned another free pass for getting straight A's so we thought we should use it before the season was over. Nothing like waiting til the last minute. But, it was the perfect evening. The sun was shining when we got there and it was as warm as could be expected this time of year...30's!!! We went once last year, so the kids thought they were pros! They were excited to "show the ropes" to some of their friends. I kept telling them there wasn't much to "show." They had a blast!!!



We enjoyed the last basketball games of the season on Saturday. Way to go guys! What an awesome season! Then, on Saturday evening, we were able to participate in a fun church fellowship idea called "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner." We had received a note in the mail telling us what type of dish we were supposed to take and then a little notecard that we were not supposed to look at until an hour before the dinner telling us who's house we were going to. I must confess....we looked ahead of time. It was a good night of fellowship with families from our body of believers that we may not typically spend that kind of time with. This was the theme scripture for the evening: "Let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works..." Hebrews 10:24
