Good Times in MI: Part 1

We were welcomed home from our trip to MI with a week long tennis camp for the kids and lots of work day trips for Matt. We had a wonderful time in Michigan with the Gajewski clan. We have been so blessed by their willingness to share and include us in their vacation. It was a week filled with activity but it was relaxing! Time away....just makes me sigh a good sigh thinking about the time we had. :) Time away from TV, phone, internet (for the most part). The kids didn't even care they didn't have their DS's. They said, "We didn't only not ask for them the whole week, we didn't even think about them!"

Day 1: Arrival. Time at the cabin and in the lake.

coming out saying their legs were numb from it being so cold!

Day 2: Mackinac Island

Dale and Matt took the kids on a bike ride around the island. Rylie and Isaac were thrilled to have their own bikes this year! No tagalongs! Sherry and I walked around town, chatted and took a tour of The Grand Hotel. We had great weather. Praise God! The forecast from home said mid 60's all week. It was actually around 75-80 on Days 1 and 2.
