Lissa Turns One & Waterpark Fun!

Lissa celebrated her first birthday last weekend! I can't believe she is so big already! It has gone by so quickly. She thoroughly enjoyed the cake...

We spent Monday through Wednesday at an indoor waterpark! Matt had a conference there for work so he took us along. Thanks, honey! :) It's great when vacation is on work! The kids had a blast and were super independent!

Riding the waves...

They did this late Tuesday night so it was kinda dark in there.
I wasn't able to get my continuous shooting and my flash to work
together so Rylie's picture is a little dark and blurry. The boys did
it again Wednesday morning so the pics are brighter and more clear.

Lilly pad ropes...
Was much harder than it looked.
Isaac was undefeated...even against Matt.
He tried to be humble, but just couldn't understand how
he could win EVERY single time! :)

I took this picture to get the swirl or "toilet bowl" slide in the background.
As I snapped, I said, "Of course! The rhino's bum is in the picture!"
I guess I know how to get a good grin out of Isaac for pictures!

There was also an outdoor pool/splash area and a ropes course and zip line. They did the ropes course then waited in line for about 30 minutes for the zip line. Then...lightning. Everyone had to come down and we have rain checks for unlimited ropes course and zip line. It was great to watch the kids on the ropes course--the differences in their approach. Isaac was fearless and Rylie was super, super cautious.
