Grandma, Grandpa, Rylie and Isaac
Ready for the Glow
Ready for the Glow
Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the LIGHT of life."
John 8:12
The LORD is my LIGHT and my salvation; whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Psalm 27:1
A balloon landed in the yard just across the field from us.
They were so close we could hear them talking throughout
the process of taking the balloon down.
The kids are hoping one decides to land in our yard sometime!
Rylie headed to camp on Monday morning with her friend Lydie. I have been able to see a few picture on the camp website of activities so far this week. Thank you to all who have been praying for her this week!
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we STAND, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Romans 5:1-2

This is the theme verse for the week:
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we STAND, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Romans 5:1-2
Ready to Go!

Isaac was already bored Monday morning. At least missing company....He wanted to make something out of recycled items--something I normally would have said, "Let's do that later after I get this done" or "maybe later" (and then I often forget about it and it never happens). I am trying to be better at being a "yes mom" (from Jill Savage's blog, Hearts at Home). His idea and this activity did not hurt anything and were only an inconvenience if I chose to look at them that way. That is where being a "yes mom" comes into play. So, instead of my usual response, I stopped what I was doing and helped him carry out his plan to make a bird house out of a milk carton, a yogurt container, and an ice cream container. I operated the utility knife and the hot glue gun. He was the mastermind.
Getting into position for the perfect placement!
(in a tree at Mamma's & Pappa's, of course b/c we don't
have any trees big enough for the birds to enjoy)
