We finished out our week with a picnic lunch and hike at Cedar Cliff Falls on Friday. Isaac had a great time! I think being the only kid with Matt and I made him feel like big stuff.

We had to try to take a picture of ourselves b/c
Matt was on the phone for work.

On Saturday morning, we made the trip to pick Rylie up from camp. We all missed her bunches, but she had a blast. She was absolutely exhausted--she slept all the way home and then fell asleep again on the couch! Rylie's favorite part of camp was climbing "The Summit." She was thrown into the lake for getting mail...Thank you Mamma and Mrs. Hewitt!! She shared many details of the week including the lessons from chapel.

The chapel themes:
God is the Ultimate STANDard
We STAND Condemned
We STAND Justified
We STAND Adopted
We STAND in Hope

I was reading through her chapel notes and came across this...We are all worshipers. What do we worship? We were created to worship God and we will not find joy in anything but God. I often have to stop and ask myself in my daily activities, "What I am worshiping at this moment?" So glad to see that this stood out to her this week.

Lunch...We often watch Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. I think I mentioned it earlier this week. Actually hitting two restaurants featured on the show in one week....Isaac thought that was pretty cool! Pastor Sam had told us about a restaurant he saw on the show, Hillbilly Hotdogs b/c it is in WV and Matt travels to WV for work every so often. So, we decided since it wasn't far from camp, we would take a detour to check it out. It was a blast! The atmosphere truly was hillbilly-ish! Really no -ish about it! It over the top hillbilly! FUN!! The menu was fun, too. Every customer was given a marker to "sign" the bus. We were able to sign our name anywhere in or outside of the restaurant. There are actually 2 old buses that make up the indoor seating area of the restaurant. A great experience! Really words cannot describe it. So, here are some pics.

Isaac & Rylie signed their names on the boat out in the yard.
Rylie looked less than thrilled. When asked what she thought
about the restaurant, she said, "It is kinda scary." My garlic ranch fries with bacon, Matt's egg hotdog, and my
hillbilly hotdog (deepfried with a special chili sauce & onions)--
The orange crush and welch's grape pop just add to the experience!
