Cookout, Parade, and Baby!

Let me just say that the temperatures this Memorial Day weekend were fabulous!  Warm enough during the day, bonfire temps at night!  It rained for the parade, but it was almost more tolerable than the 95 degree weather we usually have.

Our Memorial Day Celebrations started Sunday evening with a big cookout...food,

friends,

 games,
 wiffle ball,
 a bonfire with singing,
S'MORES,
 And...
Mallow Dogs!

Just had to throw this one in there to show that, at 35,
I can still hoop with the best of 'em!

Isaac's Cub Scout Pack marched in a small parade on Monday morning
that concluded with a nice ceremony honoring those who have fought, are
fighting, and will fight for our freedoms.

And we ended our weekend with a trip to meet Baby Jensen,
my new cousin!  Avery adored him...Well, we all did!

Our gratitude, our appreciation, our respect – it pales in light of the sacrifices you have made. To everyone who serves in our military and to everyone who loves someone who serves in our military, thank you. Our hearts are full, thanking God for all of you today.
