One of his catches...
Rylie and Lydie both enjoyed camp! They are already making plans for next year. When we picked them up, they were finishing each others' sentences as they were telling camp stories. Rylie enjoyed the outdoor activities...swimming in the lake, climbing the rock wall, getting thrown into the lake for getting 2 packages and getting blobbed! Her favorite chapel was when they talked about the branches being attached to the vine (or not attached). In her words, we need to be attached (by asking God into our heart and to forgive our sins) and also produce fruit. Spending time in prayer and in God's Word helps us to constantly check ourselves. Just because we are a pretty branch on the outside, doesn't mean our heart is in the right place. She came home with fun songs and motions to verses. The theme of camp this year was "believe!".John 20:31 "But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name."

Matt and I had a wonderful time in Chicago. He was there for business, I was there for the food! No, it was wonderful to be able to spend time together as a couple, nurturing our relationship that is a picture of the relationship between us and Christ!
This was the Chicago deep dish pizza I had been craving!!!
It was fabulous!!!
