Happy Birthday, Isaac!

Yesterday was Isaac's 7th birthday! His name means "laughter." How fitting! His sense of humor and the way he brings laughter to our household is one of the gifts that God has blessed him with and with which he uses to bless us. We also love his tender heart and the way he is so honest and caring.

I can't believe he is 7! What is more unbelievable is that we also celebrated Rylie's 9th birthday! She isn't officially 9 for 2 more weeks, but we only do one family party. We had a fun time with the theme the kids chose this year. Rylie wanted an OSU cake and Isaac wanted a Michigan cake. We thought he would eventually grow out of that phase, but I don't think it is a phase. He is keeping the faith, like Uncle Dale encourages! According to Dale, Michigan will again have their time (at some point in Isaac's lifetime).

Isaac had worked very hard on this thank you sign during the day
on Friday and Rylie helped him with the finishing touches.
Love it when the kids are so creative!

Isaac was enjoying one of his new gifts,
Legos Creationary, with Grandma, Grandpa,
Uncle Pat & Aunt Jennifer.
It is like pictionary only you build the clues with legos.
The 3 stooges.
Can't tell they are related, can you?!
