Yesterday, I went on a field trip with one of the classes I used to work with. I love spending time with my friends! I got home to a nice surprise in the mailbox. Isaac's kindergarten teacher had sent me a very encouraging note with a copy of something Isaac made for her last year. These are the times that I can say "my sweet Isaac" instead of "that boy!"
Last year during some free time, I guess Isaac made a few "tracts." He gave a few to friends and one to his teacher. There was a smiley face on the front and his signature was on the back. This was the inside...

As a mom, it just warms my heart to see that Isaac isn't afraid to be bold and courageous in his faith. He is a young boy after God's heart! I thank God for the work He has done and will continue to do in Isaac. He is going to use Isaac to do big things for His Kingdom! He came home from school yesterday saying that they had read some books about the Ice Age and that the authors claimed it happened 10 million years ago. Isaac knew that wasn't true so we talked about why and what was wrong with the dating method, and he was armed and ready to appropriately discuss it today! That you to Answers in Genesis for making such explanations so kid friendly!
This is a picture of the kids before school today. They sort of matched so I wanted to get a picture. They looked so cute. No complaining over clothes or even the fact that they matched, but when they were brushing their teeth, they were talking about which one looked more like a bumble bee!
