Catching Up

Wow. It has been a while. Matt was in North Dakota last week on his annual hunting trip with Dad and 2 friends. We REALLY missed him! Isaac said, "Mom, the house sure does feel empty without Dad here." He was right! We are so thankful to have him back and glad he had a relaxing, fun, successful hunting trip. Isaac is looking forward to when he is able to go. He shared many details from the trip with his Sunday School teacher yesterday. By the way, Julie, it was a teal that he was talking about. They got one blue wing teal which is a duck with a blue stripe on its wings (I think).

Last week was also my first week with Eli. It was a smooth transition at the Brown home. Eli slid right into a routine and we have been having lots of fun with him around. Although, Gracie is driving me up a wall! She thinks she is his mother! And Rylie loves having Aunt LeAnn as her teacher at school! Here are a few pics of our week.

On his first day...
Eli just wanted some snuggle time with Mom
when she picked him up on the first day.
He loves his Aunt Sarah, but I'm not his Momma!
Had to take a picture of him in his blazer.
Pretty sure he was thinking, "Really?!...you are going
to take pictures of me every day?!"
Having fun under one of the toys I had saved
from when Ry and I were little.
He just loves to play and chatter!

Saturday, we went down to Centerville to spend some time with Cindy, Neil, Chase, Mamma & Pappa Jones and Neil's mom. The kids were able to trick-or-treat with Chase and a few of his neighbor friends. We are praising God for wonderful weather! It was absolutely gorgeous. The kids weren't cold and Cindy and I were able to sit outside and pass out candy.

The kids look great! I don't think I had seen Rylie in her dress yet:)

And I love Eli's eyes!
