and a season for every activity under heaven."

I know it is harvest time, but I LOVE when the corn is tall around our house. It is our own natural privacy fence and for some reason, it gives me a sense of security. Silly, I know. Corn on one side, my dad on the other! :) Most of the corn on our road has been down for a week or so. But just today, Farmer Bill started to take down the corn right around our lot. Tis the harvest season.
The Bible is filled with verses about harvest, seasons, and sowing and reaping. Here are a few that God led me to meditate on today.
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galations 6:9
But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. Romans 6:22

May the peoples praise you, O God; may all the peoples praise you. Then the land will yield its harvest, and God, our God will bless us. God will bless us, and all the ends of the earth will fear him. Psalm 67:5-7
