What I've Been Watching....

My deer friends have moved on, but for Monday and Tuesday, they were my entertainment. We had two deer, a buck and a doe, who decided to hang out in the field across the street from us. We often see deer running through the field, but these two would lay down....and lay All day....for two days! Right there, out in the open. It was fun to watch them! I love how we can enjoy so much of God's creation out here in the country! As I watched the deer, this verse came to mind. "As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God." (Psalm 42:1) Then, the song As The Deer came to mind. I am horrible with lyrics so I had to look it up. Thought I would share.

The deer wouldn't lay close enough together for me to get a picture
of both of them laying down at the same time and still be zoomed in.
Oh well. You get the idea. This is how they spent their days.

I also wanted to share this video of Eli. I tried to e-mail it to LeAnn so she could share it via FB, but the file was too large. So, here it is. He is so cute when he does "So Big." He is quite the performer, but he gets camera shy. Hopefully he outgrows that. You can tell in the video that he was looking back and forth between my face and the camera. OK....so I am having technical difficulties getting the video to upload. Stay tuned....
