On Wednesday, the kids had a planned 2 hour delay. Love those days! They enjoy the time they get to spend with Eli in the morning b/c LeAnn still has to go to work at normal time. Eli had on his little train engineer hat Wednesday and Isaac quickly remembered that he had one of those, too. He was super excited to match Eli and reminded us that he got the hat when Ms. Carol took him and her grandson, Eddy, to the EnterTRAINment Junction for a fun outing. Ahhh...Memories.
Isaac and Eli in their matching hats...
Sorry for the shirtless pic. Isaac will not sleep in a shirt!

This was Eli hanging out with Uncle Matt while I made his cereal.
Of course, playing DS.
"Let me see!"
Out of the mouth of a child....
Yesterday, Rylie went to a birthday party between churches so Isaac had to hang out at home. We tried to make it special by letting him choose something to do. He chose the Wii. They don't play it much so it is special when they play. But, instead of playing a game, he wanted to create "Mii's" for some of his friends and extended family. For those who don't know, Mii's are people/characters that you create on the Wii to use while you play games. They have quite the collection of Mii's. Isaac created a Mii for his friend, Dominick. Dom and his family are very dear friends of ours. I have actually known and worked with Dom since he was 3 and started preschool. He has a physical disability that makes it very difficult for him to get around like we do. He definitely "gets around," though! He is one determined little guy. Anyway, Isaac created a Mii to look like Dom. The Mii's were walking around in a room and Isaac's comment was, "this is what heaven will be like b/c Dom is walking." To have the perspective and heart of a child!!! So, I shared this with Cyndi, Dom's mom, and she told Dominick what Isaac said. His comment was, "no, that's too hard." :)
