Spring is Here!

I say that spring is here, but there is snow in the forecast for later this week. At least for now we are able to enjoy time outside riding bikes, scooters, taking walks to Dairy Queen from the bike path.... The kids were thrilled to get home from school and spend time outside BEFORE they did their homework. Here is how they spent their time.

Of course, Isaac found a stick.

And Rylie found a warm, quiet place to read...for a while.
Then, they found a caterpillar and made a home for it.
Carrying the caterpillar to the garage...
Trying to block the wind so they didn't lose grass and leaves.
How many are your works, LORD! In wisdom you made them all;
the earth is full of your creatures. Psalm 104:24

We so enjoy the times we can get out and enjoy God's amazing creation!

Now, for those of you who have a weak stomach, you may not want to continue reading today's post. Once again, we forgot to lock our dog, Gracie, in her cage when we left for church yesterday morning. Gracie does not get into things when we are home (except the trash). However, when we forget to lock her up, she turns into quite the little terror. It is really strange the things she chooses to eat while we are gone. Yesterday, her pleasure was a highlighter lid, a lego man, a one dollar bill, the tip of a pen and 1/2 a box of crayons. These things are not left within easy reach. She really has to work and search to get to these items. It is always fun, at least interesting, to see how what she ate comes out. This is the result from this afternoon. Looks like Fruity Pebbles or confetti! It is no surprise that she has had a bowel obstruction before!

You crack me up!! Love the picture of the "Fruity Poo!" The chocolate lab we used to have loved to do the same thing. Except her pleasure was mini-blind and wooden doors. But I am sure you are no stranger to that either.:) Loved the pics of the kids. What blessing to have fresh air for all! Have a great week!

That colorful poo is all too familiar! Hope to see you on Sunday!
